TESTAE

Privacy

This notice explains the current prelaunch website and the privacy model planned for the TESTAE learning app. TESTAE is not publicly available yet. The app sections below will apply when app testing or account registration opens and will be updated before launch if the implementation changes.

Who is responsible

Quizit Mobile S.L. is responsible for this website and will be the data controller for the TESTAE app. For privacy questions or requests, email jlmartin@quizit.es. See also the Terms of use.

This prelaunch website

This website is hosted by Vercel. Serving a page can involve technical request data such as an IP address, browser information, requested URL, date and time, and security logs. The TESTAE prelaunch site does not create app accounts, take payments or load Google Analytics. If you email us, we use your email address and message to answer you and keep any record reasonably needed to follow up or meet legal obligations.

Vercel processes hosting data under its own terms. Read the Vercel privacy policy.

Information the planned app will process

The app is designed to process:

  • account and profile data, such as an account identifier, email, display name and profile timezone;
  • learning data, including sessions, answers, results, bookmarks, missed questions, statistics, streaks and problem reports;
  • subscription status and purchase events needed to grant and restore paid access, without Quizit Mobile receiving your full card details;
  • device, app version, notification token and preference data needed to deliver optional push notifications;
  • product analytics and diagnostic events, such as screens or features used, session timing, coarse technical information and failures; and
  • IP address, operating system, timestamps and other server or security log data created when the online service is used.

You will be able to start as a guest. Guest practice still creates an anonymous account identifier and stores learning activity on the server; it does not mean that no data is collected. Linking an email address connects that progress to your sign-in details and helps you retain access when changing devices or reinstalling the app.

Please do not put patient information, clinical records, passwords or other unnecessary sensitive information into a support or problem report. The planned app does not need that information to provide its educational service.

How and why information is used

We expect to use this information to:

  • create and secure accounts and provide the learning service;
  • save progress, enforce the daily free allowance and provide paid features;
  • deliver requested notifications and respond to support requests;
  • understand use, fix errors, protect the service and improve content and features; and
  • comply with legal, accounting and consumer obligations.

Depending on the activity and applicable law, processing will rely on performing our contract with you, your consent, compliance with legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the service. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Service providers and disclosures

The planned service uses Supabase for authentication, application data and backend services; Mixpanel for product analytics; RevenueCat and Apple or Google for subscription administration; and Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service as notification transports. These providers may receive identifiers, device or usage information needed for their task. Their own notices explain how they process information:

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, authorities when legally required, or a successor in a business transaction, with appropriate safeguards. We will not use or share your information except as described in this notice. Advertising placements are not planned for the initial release. We will update the notice before introducing advertising that uses personal information.

International processing and retention

Some providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we and our providers will use recognized safeguards for international transfers. Final provider configurations and processing locations are still being selected and will be reflected here before app registration opens.

We keep personal information only while needed for the purposes above, including providing an account, resolving disputes, preventing abuse and meeting legal or accounting duties. Different records require different periods. Account deletion removes or anonymizes information unless a limited record must be retained by law or for legitimate security or dispute purposes. Store purchase records are also subject to Apple's or Google's retention rules.

Cookies and device storage

Cookies are small files that websites can store on your device. Apps can also store session credentials, identifiers and preferences to keep you signed in and remember settings. The planned app uses authentication storage for access to your account; learning progress is held online. This prelaunch website does not set analytics or advertising cookies for TESTAE. Any optional app analytics controls will be described before account registration opens.

Security and connectivity

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We restrict provider access to the work they perform. The app is designed as an online service: starting practice and synchronizing progress require a network connection, and work that has not reached the server may be lost if the app closes while offline.

Your choices and rights

You will be able to control optional notifications in the app and in device settings. Subject to local law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your personal information, or object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent and complain to your local data protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Use the account deletion page or email jlmartin@quizit.es. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription; subscriptions must be managed in the store account used to purchase them.

External links and children

Links to third-party sites are governed by those sites' privacy practices. The service is intended for medical and nursing learners and professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child below the minimum age permitted by applicable law. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information should contact us so we can investigate and take the required action.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice as the app is completed or when the service or law changes. We will post the new version here and provide additional notice or request consent where required. This prelaunch notice was last updated on 10 September 2026.
